Migrating From Meandering

I have been a blogger for a lot of years and recently started to recognize that my meandering nature includes many blogs that I have, and to some extent, abandoned along the way. My first, now defunct, blog was called "Big Boxes Blow" and it was a reaction to the increasing number of over-sized "big box" stores that have crept across the national landscape. Now, it seems archaic, given the challenges to all forms of retailing in these e-commerce times in which we live. Currently, I maintain this blog, a humor-centric blog called The Joke's Ennui, and a political commentary Substack called "Me and My Meanderings" which was meant to be a hybrid of this blog and a earlier blog called "Son of Popular Progressive" (that one an off-shoot of "Popular Progressive" which got hacked and I have deleted since). I also created and deleted  "2 Funny, 4 Words" which was a personal challenge to create funny stuff using only four words and a picture. You can imagine how that went.

With my new children's book "What Happened on the Garden Street Bus" out and available, I am realizing the value of limiting my meandering a bit and leaving this blog for the bright lights of independent bookstores and libraries for the foreseeable future. If you somehow found yourself here and like the writing, thanks! If you want to read more, click one of the links above for other content. While sharpening my focus is what I am doing for now, my meandering days are far from over. I'll see you down the long and winding road or at a bookstore or library near you.
