Why bother?

I started this blog to act as a repository for the ideas I get that are not clearly thought out and also meant, for the moment, for very few eyes--mine mostly. So, why bother? I have given it this much thought. When I am no longer walking the earth, I'd like my wife to see what I think about when I'm not thinking about her. Also, I like the idea that the folks at the Wayback Machine will be able to dredge this and, perhaps, make it possible for a bunch of curious people to know what some dude was meandering about in the twenty-teens and -twenties. Or, it could just be a bunch of flotsam that rolls up on the shores of the internet that exists but is not taken notice of (other than as an annoyance).

In any case, this is something that helps me to file away the ideas that I don't really know what to do with and revisit them in the future where they may serve a different purpose--either for me or someone who is a Beachcomber. Meandering does not always have a clear path forward and most of the time, doesn't really require it.
